They assisted with scheduling his road test for me and provided all forms needed for it. The 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course

Required before your road test. Live with an instructor, no final exam, and your MV-278 certificate is mailed the next day. Every Thursday 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM.

Frequently asked questions

How old do I need to be to start?

You can begin lessons once you hold a NYS learner permit. 16- and 17-year-olds also qualify for our online 5-Hour Course.

How much does a driving lesson cost?

A single 55–60 minute lesson is $105, and a lesson plus our car for the road test is $220. Packages of 5, 6, 10 and 50 lessons include the road-test car and cost less when you pay in full.

Can I use your car for the road test?

Yes. Every package from 5 lessons up includes our dual-brake car for your road test, or you can book a single lesson + road test.

What is your cancellation policy?

Call the office at least 24 business hours ahead for weekday lessons (we don’t take cancellations on Sundays), and 48 hours ahead for weekend lessons, two-hour lessons, and lesson + road test appointments. Later cancellations are charged in full.

Do you teach both automatic and stick shift?

Yes — we teach both. Let us know which you'd like when you book and we'll match you with the right vehicle and instructor.

What is the 5-Hour Course and do I need it?

It's the NYS-required pre-licensing course. You must complete it (and receive your MV-278 certificate) before you can take your road test. We run it live on Zoom.
